Housing Board for UFPJ April 29 events
United for Peace and Justice has put up a Housing Board on their website for anyone looking for a place to stay while in NYC for the March for Peace, Justice and Democracy on the 29th.
There are places available from NJ to Brooklyn to the Bronx. (And some of the people who are offering housing sound really fun and interesting, too.) Some have beds and some have sleeping bags and some have floor space for the sleeping bag that you bring. The list will be continuously updated, so check it off and on.
There's also a place to post your request for housing.
NYC also has some hostels and other places worth checking out. If anyone is going to photograph in NYC that weekend, I'd be happy to offer help, advice, maps and information. Unfortunately, due to a pre-arranged and previously committed weekend of work on my senior project class' book, I'll be working with students in Rochester.
