DARFUR RALLY: A WITNESS TO GENOCIDE SPEAKS
Thurs, April 27th 7 pm
Temple B'rith Kodesh
2131 Elmwood Ave. Brighton

A host of interfaith organizations are sponsoring a community rally free and open to all to protest the genocide in Darfur. Mohamed Yahya will address the crowd. The massacres continue...

A postcard campaign to the Fed gov't is taking place and postcards will be available at the rally.

The speaker's village was first attacked by the Sudanese Arab militia raiders, the janjaweed,in 1993. His village was destroyed and many of his relatives were killed, raped, or burnt alive in their huts. He was in Cairo at the time. Mohamed Yahya then founded an organization that is now known as Damanga Coalition for Freedom and Democracy.

For information about the rally, contact Isobel Goldman at the Jewish Federation. The Unitarian Church on Winton Road is probably also a sponsor of this event-I'm assuming
that it is.

Hope everyone will come.
